Love After Five
Terms & Code of Conduct
By purchasing or using a ticket, or attending a Love After Five event, you agree to the following terms:
1. Eligibility
Attendees must be 18 years or older and meet any age or eligibility requirements stated for the event. Love After Five may refuse entry where those requirements are not met. Events will lists a specific age bracket (e.g. 30–40, 45–60, 50+). Guests must fall within the advertised range. Love After Five reserves the right to refuse entry if you are outside this range. In such cases, your ticket may be transferred once to an event within the appropriate age range, but no refunds will be issued. Guests must purchase the correct ticket for their gender as specified in the event description. If a guest purchases the incorrect ticket, Love After Five reserves the right to refuse entry without a refund.
2. Respectful Conduct
All attendees must treat other guests, Love After Five staff and venue staff with respect.
Harassment, discrimination, bullying, threatening behaviour, violence, sexual misconduct, unwanted sexual behaviour or other abusive conduct will not be tolerated. Attendees must always respect the boundaries and consent of others.
3. Safety and Removal
Love After Five may refuse entry, remove an attendee or prohibit future attendance where it reasonably considers this necessary for safety, wellbeing or proper conduct.
This includes where an attendee:
behaves aggressively, abusively or inappropriately;
harasses another person;
appears excessively intoxicated or affected by drugs;
damages property;
breaches the law or venue rules; or
creates a credible safety risk.
Serious misconduct may be reported to police or other authorities.
4. Alcohol and Drugs
Attendees must drink responsibly. Illegal drugs and unlawful conduct are prohibited.
Love After Five and venue staff may refuse service or remove an attendee who is intoxicated, affected by drugs or behaving unsafely.
5. Accurate Information
Attendees must not knowingly provide materially false or misleading information about their identity or eligibility to attend an event.
6. Personal Safety
Attendees should exercise care when sharing personal information or arranging contact with another attendee outside an event. Love After Five does not conduct background checks unless expressly stated otherwise and does not guarantee the identity, character or suitability of attendees.
7. Tickets and Transfers
Tickets are valid for the event booked unless Love After Five approves a transfer.
A ticket may be transferred once to another eligible event, subject to availability.
Any complimentary drink or event-specific inclusion does not transfer unless Love After Five agrees otherwise. Refund rights are subject to the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Event Changes
Love After Five may make reasonable changes to an event, including its venue, timing or format, where required for operational or safety reasons.
9. Photography and Recording
Photography and video may occur at Love After Five events. Where attendees are notified that photography or filming will take place, Love After Five may use that material for promotional and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify a Love After Five representative.
10. Personal Belongings
Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. To the extent permitted by law, Love After Five is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
11. Accessibility and Venue Rules
Attendees should check venue accessibility before booking if they have specific requirements. All attendees must comply with venue policies and reasonable directions from Love After Five, venue and security staff.
12. Marketing
Love After Five may contact you about future events and promotions where you have consented to receive marketing communications. You may unsubscribe at any time.
13. Breaches
A breach of these Terms may result in a warning, refusal of entry, removal from an event, cancellation of a booking or temporary or permanent exclusion from future Love After Five events. Where an attendee is refused entry or removed because of their own breach, no refund will be provided except where required by law.
14. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
